WHO'S READY TO DIVE INTO SUMMER?

Today I'm taking over the #GeeEdit blog and talking all things summer 2024!

FIND OUT MY CURRENT MAKE-UP MUST HAVES, MY SUMMER HOSTING TIPS, WHAT I'M COOKING AND HOW I'M ELEVATING MY LOOK FOR THE SEASON!

Summer Makeup:

I'm calling it now - summer '24 is the summer of Moisture Tint! It's a gorgeous, sheer and lightweight true tinted moisturizer that evens the skin tone and adds a subtle, natural glow. It applies so beautifully and literally feels like nothing is on my skin.

Of course I'm always after a bronzed summer glow so I'm never without my go-to Warm Glow Bronzer, Liquid Glow 02, and Cocobeam Color Stick. I also really lean heavily into bodycare during the summer months so I'll be recomitting to my routine using the De La Heart Body Sculptor tool with a hydrating body oil.

What I'm Wearing:

This summer I'm really into wearing a lot of blue, lots of denim, and oversized men's button downs all paired with a great pair of slides. I love finding new ways to elevate my denim for evenings out, pairing them with fun accessories and embellished tops.

I've been LIVING in the new merch we created for Six by Gee Beauty's rebrand. The new energy and vibe feels so fresh for summer but stays true to the ethos of the brand. It's been a long time coming and it's so exciting to finally share it with everyone!

What I'm Cooking:

I love to eat lighter, more fresh foods in the summer — think hydrating fruits and veggies and lots of fish. When I'm going to be at the pool I love to bring healthy snacks like Siete chips, carrots + hummus, cherries and grapes.

My fiancé Luka loves to catch and serve his own fish so we love making delicious crudos and roasted whole fish. For a really refreshing summer sweet treat, I've been making my Banana Mint "Nice" Cream which is so satisfying and cooling after a hot summer day.

Summer Hosting 101:

There's nothing I love more than cooking for a crowd and hosting. I love to plan when I entertain - everything from the food (most importantly!), to the flowers, the music, the decor - for me the whole experience is important and I love to consider every detail, while keeping it feeling light, informal, and enjoyable.

My top entertaining tips:

- KEEP IT FEELING RELAXED AND EFFORTLESS IN THE MOMENT (THIS MEANS PLANNING AHEAD TO GET AS MUCH PREPPED AS POSSIBLE SO THAT YOU’RE NOT FEELING THE PRESSURE OF DOING IT ALL ONCE YOUR GUESTS ARRIVE)

- LITTLE TOUCHES LIKE MUSIC, FLOWERS, LIGHTING, AND EASY FOOD OPTIONS MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

- I LOVE INCORPORATING MY OWN FUN DECOR AND SERVING PIECES THAT REALLY REPRESENT MY STYLE
