Miriam's Fall 5

I’m feeling very much in my element this fall.

So much of what we've been dreaming of and creating is now part of our everyday life - from welcoming you into our beautiful new home in Toronto at The James, to reaching for Gee Skin on my own bathroom counter. There's a real joy in getting to this part: using, sharing, and enjoying what we've put so much care into. Between Toronto + Miami, I'm spending time with my family and our team, discovering new makeup favorites and letting my puppy Vinny persuade me to take the longer route. We both love it.

1. Welcoming You to our new home

I can’t wait to get into the studio these days. After more than 20 years on Roxborough Street in Toronto, welcoming you into our new home (just 2 blocks north) at The James is a very special feeling. I love being there to say hello to our incredible clients (it's you who made this possible for us), give them tours, and to create customized beauty regimens that produce real results. We’ve put so much thought and care into this space, and getting to share it with the clients who have been part of our story means so much to me. Seeing familiar faces come through a new front door has been one of my favorite parts of the season.

2. Taking the Long Way with Vinny

Vinny is very good at making sure I get outside, and this time of year, I’m particularly happy to oblige. The changing leaves, the cooler air, a beautiful afternoon—it all makes me want to walk a little longer. With so much happening in the studios, these walks give me time to clear my head, keep moving, and enjoy what’s around me. He really makes me laugh, and a very persuasive reason to take the scenic route.

3. A Little Miami Time

Spending time in Miami brings together so much of what I love: being with my family and working alongside our team. I love getting into the studios, sharing ideas, and spending time on the details of how we care for our clients. Those conversations are always better in person. Then there’s time with my daughters and grandchildren, catching up and being part of their everyday lives. I’m happiest when I can be involved in it all.

4. Gee Skin, Every Day

I’m using Gee Skin and absolutely loving it. After years of working with skin, listening to our clients, and sharing what we know, launching our own collection in my daily routine feels incredibly rewarding. So much of our experience has gone into these products, and there’s a particular pleasure in reaching for them at home. I’ve always believed in being consistent with your skincare and choosing products you enjoy using. Seeing Gee Skin on my own bathroom counter gives me an extra reason to look forward to that time. It's launching officially next month and we can't wait to share it with everyone!

5. A Little Definition

I’m loving our new Twist + Define Lip Liners paired with our nourishing gloss, and finishing the look with our new Precision Brown Mascara. A defined lip, a little shine, and the softness of brown on the lashes—it’s such a beautiful combination. These are the pieces I’m reaching for before heading into the studio or even on a relaxing sunday. I love how a few touches of makeup can make me feel put together and ready for the day. This combination is one I’m very happy to repeat.
