Welcome In The New

Any time of day, or any point of the year, is the perfect opportunity for a new perspective, a fresh mindset, or a different approach.

We don't need to wait until January 1st to form a new healthy habit, because after all its about the consistency and dedication to the habit. But since this time of year often does come with the desire for reflection and the feeling of new opportunities, here are a few ways we're looking ahead as we approach 2025.

Create The Vision

First, lets celebrate as we look back on the year. Any small win is a big achievement. It can be small things - small steps lead to can lead to big changes. Even reflect on the things you were consistent with. Consistency has major value!

If you're visual, try a vision board: using inspiring visuals that describe what you want to attract or draw into the year ahead for yourself. Use images from magazines, or screen-grabs you've taken, or go through your saved folder on Instagram and see what you've gravitated to. They can be quotes, or words pasted together, or images. Include a range of topics that capture how you want to feel, and the energy you'd like to create for yourself. It doesn't have to be extremely literal. These are aspirations and goals.

If you like writing in a journal or creative free-form, try that. Whatever comes to mind.

If you respond well to making lists, try that. Pick a few topics like new habits, finances, health and wellness, family, travel, spirituality, new experiences etc... and write down 3-4 things under each topic that can act as goals.

The idea is that these should all serve to inspire, so be mindful not to get stuck on how literal these are. They're meant to motivate and inspire. Keep in mind great things can take way longer than a year to achieve. The point is that creating this vision IS the point. It's seeing a good picture for ourselves. It helps us embody this energy, and helps us attract more of what we want. It's forward motion, growth, momentum and thinking. And it can change our perspective and help our mentality.

And remember, when we're working on this, lets not try to take on everything. Let's pick ONE THING. Focus on that. Maybe it's something that you're close to achieving that you've wanted, and its attainable and within your control. Break it down and think about what the daily steps or habits need to be in place to achieve it. It's not about 10 things, it's about the 1 thing.

Creating a vision, manifesting, or setting goals really all comes down to habits. They help shape our routines and create consistency. Consistency builds strength. If you have a goal, think of the habits you need to create and maintain to achieve what you want.
